On The Run is spread across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia, servicing almost all of the SA population with the following:

  • Over 145 On The Run fuel and convenience stores, ranging in size from a small convenience store to a large supermarket.
  • Over 105 C Coffee cafés ranging in format from a drive thru to dine-in environment.
  • Over 44 SUBWAY restaurants, which is the largest SUBWAY franchisee in Australia.
  • 18 Brumby’s Bakeries including 5 franchisees. We are the master franchisee for South Australia.
  • Over 55 other fast food franchises operating within a multi-offer format unique to On The Run, such as Oporto, Hungry Jack’s & Wokinabox.
  • 100% of our stores have a broader range of shop merchandise than traditional C-Stores.
  • 100% of our fuel stores operate 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Our multi-offer retail model is unique and robust, proven not to be reliant on fuel, any particular brand, store size or demographic and is 100% convenience focused.

The majority of our customers do not purchase fuel but visit us to buy non-fuel items. This reinforces our unique position as the most convenient retail destination in Australia.

Due to our market penetration and diversified customer base, our suppliers and partners recognise On The Run as the preferred platform to launch new products and brands into the market.

On The Run featured in NACS Magazine – (National Association of Convenience Stores), a national American publication relating exclusively to convenience retailing:

“Over the past few years On The Run’s growth has effectively doubled. Shahin (Yasser) attributes the growth to a focus on store sales and the company’s out performance of every player in the local market by a reasonable distance. The stores are frequently included in the top 10 trading results by store in the country….”

“Subway South Australia would not be where it is today without the energy and entrepreneurship contributed by Yasser Shahin and the Peregrine Group. Since our first meeting nine years ago, we have shared a vision of the Subway brand and its relevance to the hungry convenience-driven customer. This vision has borne a network of more than 20 convenience store restaurants, giving our brand visibility and credibility beyond our size. Yasser, our most important franchisee and partner, continues to grow and has our strongest support and encouragement.”

– Martin Koehne, Development Agent, Subway South Australia.

“The business is a very progressive and innovative retailing business that is thriving in an intensely competitive market. BP is proud to be associated with them.”

– Gerry Hueston, [Past] President BP Australia Pty Ltd.
