Peregrine Raises $2,000 for Cancer Council SA

Another month, another fantastic result for a South Australian charity. Peregrine is pleased to announce that the May installment of Casual Friday raised a total of $2,000 for Cancer Council SA.

Director Dr Sam Shahin recently presented the Council with a cheque for $2,000 at Peregrine’s Site Support Office in Kensington. This donation is in addition to the funds raised by Peregrine staff for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, which was also held in the month of May.

Peregrine is proud to support Cancer Council SA which provides vital services to so many South Australians. Along with their crucial research into cancer treatment and prevention, Cancer Council SA provides ongoing support and advocacy to thousands of people affected by cancer every year. Cancer Council SA relies on community support to achieve one simple vision: to beat cancer. All funds raised will aid in this fight across numerous South Australian programs.

Peregrine’s Casual Friday initiative was announced by Company Directors in February and has been embraced by staff keen to make a difference in the community. On the last day of every month, staff come to work in casual clothes in exchange for a gold coin donation. Each month the Company nominates a different South Australian charity to receive all proceeds.

Peregrine Corporation is also topping up these donations as part of its longstanding commitment to the South Australian community.
