Peregrine’s Casual Friday fundraising campaign continues to gain momentum, this time raising $2,000 for Australian Red Cross.
Director Dr Sam Shahin recently presented a cheque for $2,000 to Sarah Soteriou from Australian Red Cross at Peregrine’s Site Support Office.
Peregrine Corporation is proud to support Australian Red Cross. Best known for its life-saving blood donor program, the Red Cross provides a variety of essential services for SA’s most vulnerable people. Their core principles of humanity, impartiality, independence and unity are a natural fit for the values of Peregrine Corporation.
All funds raised will be put to great use supporting community, emergency response and blood donation programs across the state.
Peregrine’s Casual Friday initiative was announced by Company Directors in February and is now entering its fourth month. On the last day of every month, staff come to work in casual clothes in exchange for a gold coin donation. Each month the Company nominates a different South Australian charity to receive all proceeds.
Peregrine Corporation is also topping up these donations as part of its longstanding commitment to the South Australian community.
The initiative is proving to be a hit at Site Support Office where staff are eager to get behind some incredible local causes. Expect a sharp decline in suits on The Parade this Friday as we try to break the $2,500 record set in February.
