Peregrine Raises $2,000 for The Australian Friends of Palestine Association (AFOPA)

Another month has given Peregrine Corporation the opportunity to raise funds for another great South Australian organisation, with this June’s Casual Friday raising $2,000 for The Australian Friends of Palestine Association (AFOPA).

Director Dr Sam Shahin recently presented a cheque for $2,000 to AFOPA, a non-for-profit association that promotes peace based on international law, and supports various humanitarian and medical causes in Palestine.

Peregrine’s Casual Friday initiative was announced by Company Directors in February and is now entering its fifth month. On the last day of every month, staff come to work in casual clothes in exchange for a gold coin donation. Each month the Company nominates a different South Australian organisation to receive all proceeds.

Peregrine Corporation is also topping up these donations as part of its longstanding commitment to the South Australian community.

The initiative is proving to be a hit at Site Support Office where staff are eager to get behind some incredible local causes.
